Courses successfully conclude

It has been a really busy few months but as the summer term comes towards an end several courses have had successful celebrations. In Bradford the Springfield group were lucky enough to have their certificates presented by the Lord Mayor, Cllr. Khadim Hussain who spoke about how he thought the project was a really good example of inclusive practice and about his aims for his year in office in highlighting widening participation and inclusivity.

In Doncaster the Milton Court group celebrated with the new Deputy Mayor, Councillor Glyn Jones, presenting the certificates.

On the 20th and 21st June the Wombwell group and Rotherham group will hold their celebrations. Sheffield, who have been working recording Wadsley/Loxley Common will present their findings on the 18th of July in Hillsborough Library.

As these groups finish we welcome the new Selby group who will be working over the summer with our partners at North Duffield and with their tutor Jon Kenny.
