Barnsley Recovery College

A new group of 8 students recently began their archaeology  journey with tutor Tim Cockrell at Barnsley Recovery college. Their first session took them straight out of the classroom to do some building recording at Monk Bretton priory before returning to look at artefacts found there at Experience Barnsley.

The group have also spent a session looking at assemblages of artefacts and trying to work out what they could tell us about the past. Each learner was asked to have a go at drawing at least one of the artefacts.
